Benjamin J. Jones

Dubbing Mixer & Head of Audio Operations

Ben has a thorough technical background in creative sound technology as well as a forward thinking flair that adds range to a wide variety of programming. He is equally comfortable with drama or factual content. He has headed up the team for the Andy’s Adventures series' that have a very complex soundscape, comprising of contemporary, futuristic sound design, through to natural wildlife environments. Ben has also completed sound design, dubbing edits and final mixing for shows such as: Animal Impossible, Andy’s Aquatic Adventures, Earth’s Tropical Islands, The Zoo, Changing Rooms, Antiques Roadshow, Our Wild Adventures, Big Blue UK, along with short form sound design of adverts and idents for a variety of corporations and companies spanning a range of mediums.

Pete Howell

Dubbing Mixer

Pete is an Emmy award winning dubbing mixer with over 20 years experience and three RTS nominations. He joined Doghouse from Audio Uproar in 2017 and continues his work on high end Natural History. Some of Pete’s credits include Wild Arabia, Life in the Air, Natural World - Super Powered Owls, Waterhole: Africa’s Animal Oasis, Cheetah Family & Me, Earth's Tropical Islands, Earth’s Great Rivers S2 and Wild Scandinavia.

David Cherry

Dubbing Mixer & Foley Artist

With over 23 years of experience working in post production, 16 years of which were working in the Dubbing department at BBC Bristol covering Mixing, Sound Editing, Foley, Voiceover recording, ADR and sound design. Working across all genres of the BBC broadcast output and receiving two sound team BAFTA nominations. 

Dave joined the Doghouse team in early 2019. In addition to Dave’s extensive Dubbing mixer and sound editing work, he is also a key talent in the Foley department, with vast experience in Natural History film Foley.

Recent mix, sound design, sound editing and Foley credits include - America’s National Parks for National Geographic, Wild Dogs, Our Changing Planet, Earths Great Rivers II and Wild Scandinavia for BBC and PBS, Silly Pets for Sky and Race and Medical Experiments, What’s the Truth? for Channel 4.

Megan Harrison

Sound Assistant & Sound Researcher

Megan brings an abundance of natural history knowledge and an enthusiasm to learn to her role as Sound Assistant & Sound Researcher at Doghouse. While studying for a degree in Filmmaking at UWE, Megan specialised in sound recording and postproduction sound. During her studies, she gained a strong interest in Acoustic Ecology and Soundscape studies. Since graduation Megan has won a RTS student award as the Sound recordist and Dubbing mixer on her graduate documentary ‘The State of Earth’, which illustrates her interest in creating TV centred around the importance of the natural world and sustainability. With the support of the Doghouse sound team, Megan is now developing her knowledge of expressing the natural world through postproduction sound.
