Doghouse makes sure that all waste is kept to a minimum by recycling VHS tapes and cases, phasing out all plastic bags and using recyclable paper bags. All our glass bottles, cans, cardboard and plastic is recycled.
All our power is turned off during down time so that computer monitors, TV's and other electrical equipment that stays on standby as default is shut down and not using power unnecessarily.
Our energy provider is Ecotricity; this is an electricity supplier who re-invests profit into environmental matters and green projects. All our kitchen and heating equipment is grade A energy effcient which also helps to lower the amount of electricity used. We are always looking for new cost-efficient ways to save on power consumption.
